Dear People who Insult Me Without Knowing/Ever Legit Hearing Me Sing,
I would like to start off with something fairly simple;
SUCK IT.
Now I would just like to add for the record that there is a difference between belting and screaming. Belting is a method of singing that is very exact that if done wrong can really fuck up your voice. I have been belting for 4 years now and have never had a problem with my voice, meaning I'm doing it correctly, and singing correctly. AND if you wanted to know, most people on broadway at this day and age are making it on broadway by belting, oh yes, this screaming you're accusing me of doing is what will make me go to broadway and you continue to do shows for fun... if you're cast.
AND I would also like to state that I not only have a belt, I have a legit voice also. You know that sound that is more soprano, dramatic, even opera sounding? Yeah I've got one of those, and how do you ask? Well that's a good question, and the answer is simple. I know what the fuck I'm doing. Take a voice lesson, and you might, also, learn it is important to have two strong parts of your voice.
SO instead of complaining and telling me that all I'm doing is screaming, listen to the fucking musical and realize that 'OH NO, it's not screaming; it's belting that all these black diva's are doing,' and then realize that you are the outcast by not doing it. YAY, intelligence.
And for the record, don't complain that you don't get cast, and blame it on reasons other than you not fitting the musical/fucking up your audition. CUZ' trust me even broadway stars get shafted just simply because their type is not right for the musical. AND DON'T START INSULTING ME CUZ' I DID GET IN.
Now you can go on you merry little way and keep on making up false statements and bitching to people who don't actually care about your petty little problems.

P.S- This is not directed to people I like/know personally. If you are upset about not being cast and I know you, I feel compassionate for you, because chances are I like you. This is for the people who say I can't sing from hearing me sing in a group, and judge me for being affliated with a nationally known professional theatre, when they themselves have nothing that I know them for. After you come see the show, your opinions might change.
