I wanted to do something special for Alexia since I heard about her parents splitting up, and then the rumors of her brother being hurt. Mostly I just wanted to remind my girl that I was still thinking about her. It had been too long since we saw each other, so I figured a present was due, and for the first time ever I found myself wondering what an almost human girl would want. I didn't usually buy presents for people with pulses since usually humans were the present.
She liked the beach. The first time we met, even if she doesn't remember it, was in a dream on the beach of the island. I wanted to give her something that would remind her that I knew her better than anyone. I knew how to make her feel good all over. She was still haunting me in my dreams and my body ached for her. It was time to step up the game and concentrate my efforts on making Alexia mine.
I found a necklace that was perfect. She was my anchor even if she didn't realize it yet. I was tethered to her and she would keep me stable and focused. I didn't want to give it to her in a simple Tiffany box no matter how much she may enjoy that. After all, she was Harry's daughter, and those Osborns loved Tiffany's. Instead I opted for a more elaborate presentation of the gift. There were heart shaped chocolates for her to eat, and plastic beaded necklaces that she could hang from her rearview mirror if she chose, along with a pewter 'key to my heart', and of course the message in the bottle that would be draped in velvet and placed in the wooden treasure chest. I slipped the necklace into the bottle along with the sand and seashells. The message was simple and said,
Alexia,
Meet me on the beach near the rocks at nine pm. I'll bring the things needed to make you your favorite drink, and you bring your smile and put on this necklace. I've missed you.

I knew she would know which beach too. I'd have a cooler full of the things needed to make her favorite drink and a blanket to spread out so that we could chill and talk. I've missed her so much. I wondered if she missed me too. Using the necklace that James gave me I was able to go break into Alexia's car during the day and leave the wooden treasure box with it's bow on top on the passenger side of her car. Hopefully she would find a way to get away and meet me.
