I spent the GO Train ride back to Burlington today debating which epic guitar solo was better:
Richard Thompson's in "A Sailor's Life" by Fairport Convention
OR
Tom Verlaine's in "Marquee Moon" by Television
After much consideration, I finally decided that I like them exactly the same.
I couldn't find any passable solo photos of Fairport-era Richard Thompson on the internet. His hair was huge and awesome. He's the one in the middle.
I love him.
My hair is getting huge and really far from awesome.
