yayyyyyyyyy tally
Lauren and I made a random unexpected detour to Clearwater this weekend. lol. I feel like a loser but I had fun anyway :c) It was strange and it didn't feel quite like home, even after just a week. The roads felt awkward and the beach looked different, especially since I drove over the new bridge for the first time. Since when did they finish that mess? :cP I'm getting used to Tally, I'm happy to be here. There is so much change everywhere...adapting to it makes me feel older. I have a really unique situation on my hands and I'm on my own now to figure it all out.... not that I'm complaining, its just that I've never been this completely independent before. I have no ones foot steps to follow for the first time in my life. Its so intriguing.
I've met some pretty cool people so far. I have somewhat of a regular group to chill with, which I'm thankful for. These 2 new girls Lauren A. and Rachel rock it. I feel like they're as old friends as Lolo. Needless to say it's comforting to have atleast that much stability up here. Everything else is still shaky. We 4 met an entire lounge full of black people that we talked to for 3 hours the other night. Laughing and bullshitting----it was so much fun. OOOO STOP IT!
I love my roomate Micheal, he's a trip. I thought there might have been a certain wierdness initially----but there really hasn't been at all. We get along fine. We got drunk with some friends the other night, and I think I'm just going to lock some of those stories in the vault of collegiate insanity. He's so cool. And my house is so pimped out---its like the first lucky thing about my year. I wouldn't have it any other way.
Anyway---Classes start tomorrow. I have Aggressive/Persuasive writing in the morning, and Nonverbal Communication in the afternoon. I have yet to iron out a few kinks in my schedule, but I plan on fixing them tomorrow. I hope tomorrow goes as smoothly as possible.
