I am sorry I do not have a better picture. I am of limited means and have not had the opportunity for much photography. That was taken the day my wagon caught on fire. You cannot see me very well, but I am inside, trying to calm down the oxen who were quite frightened, as you might imagine.

We were resting for a day at the Kansas River crossing, and I just happened upon it.

I think it would be a great way to unwind after a grueling day, especially when the rations are meager and Billy has a broken leg again.
6-what is your biggest pet peeve regarding people in lj?
People just do not understand how hard it is to go all the way to Oregon in a covered wagon. Kids these days have it so easy they just do not appreciate not only the danger but also the hard fought battle to overcome boredom and annoyance with your family. You see these people day after day after day and it can get troublesome when the kids start complaining and your wife just sighs as we roll through the vast plains.

8-How do you feel about your LJ bio?
I would say it is between meager and bare bones, although it serves quite well to alert you as to my interests.
9-What do you do in your spare time?
I do not have much spare time because we are always on the trail. Sometimes I stop to size up the situation. I like to hunt for food and attempt to trade, and stopping to rest is always nice. Talking to locals is okay but they never really say anything interesting. On occasion I will sit out back on the wagon and do a little whittling.

I hope this counts, but I like NVBrothels.net.
11-Why is it your favorite?
Well if I make it all the way to anywhere near Nevada, I might try to stop by one of those there Brothels for a little visit.
