What's the problem with being homeless? There are some people who worship a homeless man on Sunday but forget about the rest of them on Monday. There is something so genuine about the squatters and bums of the Earth. So much to learn from them. So much they could learn from us.
And it's so sad we tend to believe they're all alcoholics and drug addicts.
A couple of my friends are now hopping trains and loving the unloved of our society. "Aaron and Owen, my heart is with you both."
I don't know if you know this, but in some cities and counties across North America, it is actually made illegal to give homeless people food and money. ILLEGAL! What a shame!
What if it was your brother or sister on the street starving? Would you walk on by claiming an addiction for them before you even tried to talk to them?
Please folks, try to see yourself in those that are different, thus realizing you both have the same humanity and what possibly happened to them could most definitely happen to you.
