In a shark's world.
An ocean too vast,
All moving too fast,
What is its presence for?

It tries to swim,
But its trek isn't long.
All its efforts are thwarted,
All its choices are wrong.

What's the minnow to do,
Overwhelmed by this place?
Does its life have a meaning?
Is its life just a chase?

Minnow frets,
Vanquished by threats.
Adrift,
Invisible,
Lonely,
Life irrevocable.

Poor,
Hopeless minnow,
With no outlet in sight.
Forever incapable,
Engulfed by its fright.
