McCain advisers said they had been concerned that a loose format could leave Ms. Palin, a relatively inexperienced debater, at a disadvantage and largely on the defensive.
... Is that not the point of a debate? To fight for what you believe and to make your opinions known. To show strength, intelligence, competence, skill. I'm seeing "Biden would debate Mrs Sarah Palin into the ground. Push her face in the yellow snow" so oh fuck it, let's just fuck with the format.

(In unrelated news, OMG IL Kings of Leon's new album already. It is unexpectedly gorgeous. Like, it is seriously gorgeous and mellow and (typically) sexy and sjhfsjdhfgjshf. They are normally more pure straight badass, I feel - this feels gentler. I approve.)
