I'm drawn to my future, not my past
Well hi, I totally just bought a mac. It's being delivered to Tiff's, so in addition to meeting mah bb's on July 14th, I will be meeting my shiny sexy mac. To say I am excited would be the understatement of the century. AND, since I didn't properly update yesterday I didn't flail about some other developments - Mindy Kaling is going to Scranton on July 19th. On July 19th I will be at Tiff's. Scranton is in Pennsylvania. Tiff lives... in Pennsylvania. Do you see where I am going with this?
THIS TRIP, YOU GUYS. THIS. FUCKING. TRIP. CANNOT EEEVENNNN. Look how restrained I seem. I am like, FOOLING YOU HXC RIGHT NOW. If I had a webcam I'd like, go on MSN and SHOW YOU how I am actually behaving right now. Oh, what's that? Macs have webcams built in? And I just bought a mac? Awesome.
And now, completely unrelated to anything ever - Julianne Spam. I intended to do a giant spam a la my House and Dwangela spams, in which I would outline in ten snazzy categories why she is incredible and I love her hardcore. Then I accidentally ended up with over 70 images for the first category alone. My bad. SO I AM SPLITTING IT UP, KINDA. I am doing a Spam Series. I intend to post roughly once a week. It'll fill up my summer, spam and fandom wise :D (this is not to say there won't be other spams. I have a mental list of like, a zillion)
THE GREAT JULIANNE MOORE SPAM SERIES OF '08
Pt 1; Family
They pose with random shit at Lego land. They are like, the greatest "famous" family EVAH
Throughout lunch, Moore is in motion. She ties her red hair in a knot, then unties it. She tugs at the hem of her sweater or pulls it's turtleneck over her chin. But mostly, she spins the ring on her wedding finger - two diamond-studded platinum bands connected by what at first look like sticks but turn out to be letters spelling "Cal" and "Liv". "It's my engagement ring," Moore explains. "Bart said, 'the kids came first. They should be in the ring'."
I'm going to let that and just... all of this, really - speak for itself. There's some gorgeous stuff that I'm not posting because it's sort of invasive and I'm not comfortable making ~spam~ of it. Candids that aren't so nice. For the most part they are incredibly nice with the paparazzi. They stop, pose and smile for them and there are none with them losing it with them or anything like that - but there are some where Liv is clearly not happy at being followed everywhere with a camera at 6 years old when she's just shopping with her mommy. She'll pose and have fun with it but it's obviously not always going to be welcome. What's beautiful about those shots, though, is how Julianne deals with it. But I am not about to pretty them up and post them here.
LIV IS AN ICKLE BALLERINA. It is just the cutest thing ever, y/y? She has her hair in a little bun and everything. AND JULIANNE IS HELPING HER!! So beautiful ♥ ♥ ♥!!
I even love their dog. Their dog is totally adorable. And she gives enough of a shit to train it and actually involve herself with all that.
SHE HAILS. CABS. She is so normal, I cannot even. Also, a friend of mine went to NY a few years ago and a cab driver told her he'd had Julianne in his cab. Not randomly. Said friend had red hair and he made a connection, lol.
She freaks out about getting wet when it rains. Adorable.
The family who strikes together stays together. LOVE.

Barring the Halloween pic, these are all from the Trust the Man set. Cal & Liv were in the film and everything - Cal more prominently than Liv. He punched David Duchovny in the balls, I believe. Lol.
Also, I can't find the Halloween pics from the year before, which makes me sad. Liv dressed up as Dorothy :( And Julianne... Wore those devil horns. She is apparently not a fan of variety when it comes to Halloween costumes XD

Pictures of Julianne with Liv are just... indescribably gorgeous. SUCH love. I love their matchy expressions in the second to last one. Liv is a complete and utter mini-me of Julianne.
SOMETIMES, THEY GO TO BASKETBALL WITH DAVID DUCHOVNY. And Billy Crudup. And not like, because of Trust the Man. That was BECAUSE they were all friends anyway. It's just a great big buddy movie. I think there's just Eva Mendes and Maggie Gyllenhaal that they didn't know, but they're all close and stuff now too. I mean, dude James LeGros officiated their wedding.
At Lego Land. I love them for posing for these. They did at Disneyland too, I believe ♥
THEIR WEDDING. They got married in those outfits. Then they had the reception in their back yard and for music they plugged their iPod into speakers. How completely refreshing, beautiful and intimate. They are amazing. Fact. I love that Cal looks grossed out by the kiss, haha.
Random shots of them being adorable. I love how close they are in public. How they always keep physical contact and how she nestles in next to him. How protective he is and how she's kind of possessive. They just look so solid and happy. And how stunningly beautiful are they? Very. They are very beautiful. And for the record, I love that he's ten years younger. It's refreshing, I guess. Idk.
Julianne Moore: Drinks beer from the bottle at fancy after-parties. (I love that at parties, she often looks this totally blissed out kinda tipsy. Like, look at them in the ones on the red sofa, with her in the black dress. LOL. ALSO, THE PICTURE BEFORE THAT. I cannot explain why but I find it incredibly pretty.)
