Life goes on

I got my prescription for adderall, and the doctor was really nice. So far I really think it has helped me alot although it totally kills my appeitite. I can finally concentrate in class and on homework, it is such a big change. Too bad no one believed me before(or even now) about this shit, I might have been able to do something about it sooner.

I also got to see Ruby's baby, Franky. She weighed 7 pounds 3 ounces and was 21 inchs long. Surprisingly she didn't cry when I held her. She is really cute and I can't wait until she gets bigger so Ruby can take her out. Right now Frank is too small to go anywhere but I know she will grow up fast.

This weekend was really good and really bad at the same time. Alex and I hung out and drank friday with the people at my co op and my friend Erin and her boyfriend. There were a lot of people at the co op because there was a e-law conference and 40ish people stayed in the basement. I played a bunch of people at chess and won all the time. It is funny because I only play men and I really don't think they expect a chic to beat them.

The annoying thing about that night was how Alex acted. He ended up getting really trashed when everyone else, including myself, was tipsy at most. It was really embarrassing for me but I think is was pay back for everyone else I have done the same thing to. It didn't really matter that much though because no one got mad, they just laughed there asses off at his ridiculousness.

Early that morning alex decided to go for a drive. I went with him and disaster happened. The car lost power and when we pulled over it was smoking really bad. We called AAA and they told us that we would have to wait an hour to be towed. I really had to pee and we were on the side of I-5 so I peed in a can that Alex had in his car. I accidently got pee all over his seat, not that it matter that much right now. Apon talking to Alex's dad, Alan we found out that his car has a blown head gasket.

After getting back to the co op Alex and I went out to eat at the Glenwood and then went to sleep. We got up around 5 and rented 3 movies and just relaxed. It was actually really nice and low key and we enjoyed it alot. Sunday Alan came down and towed the car back with his huge truck which was super cool.

I already know that cars are really expensive to maintain but I didn't think it would be so much so soon. I mean Alex recently had almost 3000 dollars spent on his transmission and now we have this to deal with. Originally we thought it was going to cost 2000 to fix in a shop or a little less to have this guy Jeff do it but now we(alex, his dad and myself) found a place to do it for about 800$. I guess this is cheap but we already had to spend 200 on just getting it back to portland in the first place so this is still expensive as all hell, oh well at least it is getting fixed.
