That's right the key word for today is DOWN.
I am so happy. Since I started going to the gym and drinking water constantly, I am officially down 6.2LBS.
It has taken 4 weeks to get here but I will take it! (and keep going)
See I didnt want to diet. Firstly, I hate diet food and secondly I don't want to gain it back. So even though some of my collegues have lost 30 lbs (he is on Atkins) he is just going to gain it all back when he decides to have a sandwich. I know I won't win the contest at work, which was my beginning motivation, but now I just wanna lose for me.
I'm really digging the gym. I forgot how much I like it. Okay so I don't love it and I don't really like it when I am actually there killing myself, but I do feel so good and positive when I leave there. It is like a feeling of accomplishment. I am tracking my wieghts and progress on a spreadsheet (of course I am) and I like that I keep increasing my weights. I remember when I first started on some of the weigh machines, I was shaking because I couldn't lift the weights. I couldn't even complete a repetition of 8. Now I have increased the weights from 60 lbs to 95 lbs and I can do eight wtihout stopping. It is still so hard but I am forcing myself.
Anyhow, Friday is weigh in day and I am a little giddy because I am down. LOL
