I've accepted the fact that academic settings expect you to have something smart to say.
I do my best to comply to this.
Today in my French Canada class, I raised my hand and said something about a reading that really irritated me.
I don't think I expressed myself very well.
Heres what I wish professors would understand.
I don't like to speak up because I don't like to make an ass of myself and more often than not, I probably do.
I don't feel the need to be eloquent about things like history.
I'm awkward and weird.
Thats just how I roll.
