Sheesh!
Well, I haven't done jack today, thanks very much. And now it's 4:30 - do I feel bad? Nope!
I'm strangely tired today, I don't know why. I fell asleep on the couch last night at 10 or so watching a movie with Bruce, got up about 11:30 and went to bed. But I'm still tired.
That's ok, though - I'm having a weekend!!! I have no rehearsals, no meetings, only a few small errands to run (and some of them are fun, like going to the library) and Bruce is visiting family in Eastern Oregon, so I'm off the hook there :). I may see if I can go sit in the Contessa's backyard, and I'll go see my friend Jillian, but those are my only big plans.
Actually, I have Saturday and part of Sunday. Sunday at 10am we have our last rehearsal before Puttin' on the Bitz performs at the July 16th Mondays at Monteith (7pm, rain or shine) - oy. Oh, and yeah, the DH didn't bother to contact us (or anyone else) regarding the foto in the paper, which is why the foto is 2 YEARS OLD and includes people no longer in the group!! (&%$## DH!!! Anyway, we'll be done fairly early, and I'll have the rest of the day to relax.
I need some down time, too; next weekend I'm going to my friend Pat's house, and the weekend after that is SeaDog, woo-hoo (that's the pirate renaissance event)!!! SeaDog should be interesting, too; after 8 years at the same place, the organizers couldn't come to terms with the property owner and have moved it to, of all places, Lebanon. So, to those of you who are coming to SD or are thinking of daytripping, the park has NO SHADE - bring hats, sunscreen & water!
Oh, and the movie Bruce & I watched? Clue - if you haven't seen it, PLEASE go rent it! Tim Curry, Madeline Kahn, Eileen Brennan, Christopher Lloyd, Martin Mull, Lesley Anne Warren, & Michael McKean make the game come to life, and it's bloody hysterical!! The best line is from Madeline (of course) who, when talking about her husband's mistress, says "I hated her...so much....it - flames, flames on the side of my face, breathless..heaving breaths...". It's much better when she says it.
