[Hawke is no stranger to spiders, big or small. In fact more than once he's killed spiders that were bigger than a horse, so there's little these spiders can do to bother him

[Hell, she's sprinting. He's only around the corner from her room but paralysis does not sound like a good thing at all. If Hawke dies, she'll be without a friend. Again.]
[It's times like this that Vie's movement being sneaky-quiet is a bad thing.]
Hawke!?
[She's just around the corner. Holler back, Hawke! She's right there! Her elbow bumps the wall and with it, a shock spider. The jolt is enough to make her yelp with pain.]
[Vie pops into view, glaring back behind her and rubbing her elbow. The next spider that crosses her path is the victim of her boot smashing it into the ground.]
It bit me. The... thing bit me.
[She can feel static rushing through her body, but Hawke is the priority now. Vie drops to his side.]
[Hawke starts to answer when suddenly he sees something. Not sitting a foot away from him is the rancid block that is his uncle's cheese. Thank the Maker he can't smell anything.]
Get that thing away from me.
[There's no small amount of horror in his voice. How did it even get here!?]
...as per always, we're doing it again. NOT!AUDIOgotyourwalletApril 22 2011, 23:36:05 UTC
[She'd already clicked into Mother Hen mode and was reaching to feel his brow when Hawke tells her to get... something away from him. Looking around, Vie finds nothing.]
[Well that's better than being stalked by the cheese, but not by much. Hawke closes his eyes and shakes his head to rid himself of the visions. When he opens his eyes the cheese is no longer sitting beside him. Instead it has replaced Vie's head.
Hawke? What's happened?
[She's not even going to try and keep the concern out of her voice.]

[Hawke thrusts a finger in front of him.]
The cheese! Get it away!
[It followed him all the way to the keep just to force him to eat it!]

Hawke, there's nothing there. No cheese.
[Hand on his brow now whether he likes it or not.]
Ignore the cheese, Garrett. Your body, is it still feeling strange?

[But wait, it's not there now. Where did it go? Hawke searches for it again, only to find it sitting right beside him.]

You're hallucinating.
