OH. MY. GOD. This story is just unbelievably good. In a single evening it has catapulted up the ranks of my all time favourite slash stories to rest high up there amongst Lucy's best Forsaken fics.

I was completely engrossed from start to finish. Your style is amazingly fresh, evocative and accessible. The occasional spelling or grammatical error just adds to the raw and earthy point-of-view perspective you've established here. Trey may not be the brightest kid on the block, but he's street smart and he knows what he likes (and, obviously, how to go about getting it!). At the same time, some of the language you use is incredibly evocative, fresh and startlingly beautiful, without being pretentious or lofty at all. For instance I've never heard a better description of fact than the "leaking cock". The narrative moves at a cracking pace rather than dwelling on distracting exposition and scene-setting: the great thing about fanfics is that, from having seen the respective show or film, we know what the characters and their houses look like so there's no need to explain. It appeals to the lazy -- I mean -- direct writer within me.

I'll admit that I was a little uncomfortable about the self-harm and also the representation of Seth's childishness, though perhaps, just perhaps, this was part of the ethereal appeal. It certainly trod a fine line but trod it beautifully well.

Finally thank you for confirming what I've always believed would be true: Trey is perhaps the greatest lover out there right now. I'm only saddened that he couldn't've been my first time (or anytime really!). Reading this made me think about the brilliant excitement and nervousness of some of my own encounters - this story just came across as so real and yet so romantic too. And you know when you start feeling these hopeless and powerless feelings about fictional characters (!!!) that you've really been won over. And so I have. I've got to read more of your stuff. And keep a hold of this one forever.

*is in awe* Wow, no one had ever said so much about any thing I've ever written. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Yeah, the whole grammarical errors were because I didn't seek out a beta, mainy because, I'm a lazy writer.

And I totally agree with you about the "direct" writer bit, I like to be describtive and all, but with this fic I really wanted to focus on Trey.

I'm really glad you liked it, its always a great feeling when someone leaves a review, it makes be want to write.

As, far as things I've written go, there are I think only 2 OC fics, a couple of Numb3rs, some queer as folk, a black hawk down and some original. But they aren't in my journal ^^;; (I mainly post in community) But if you want them just send me your e-mail and I can get them to you.

Again, thank you so much! You've made my day.

Hey you deserve it buddy. If I made your day, you made my night (and many more to come, through re-readinsg, I'm sure) so I guess we're even. ;)

I agree, a review is always nice, especially if there's some substance to it. It actually took me about a week to get around to posting these comments - I wanted them to do my feelings justice. I jotted down the main points during and after I'd read your fic because I knew there was no way that I could keep all this to myself. This quality of work deserves a review! That said, I am a little sceptical of people who live only for comments - a lot of my output is fuelled primarily by frustration, anxiety and the drive for self-gratification. Actually, that's probably just as unhealthy as writing solely for comments haha. BUT it is always nice to pay respect where it is due. So I guess what I'm trying to get at in a rather convoluted way (sorry, Beethoven's 9th is blaring at me at the moment, addling my thoughts a little) is that I didn't just comment for comment's sake. I really meant it! Der.

I'd love to read your other OC fic, the Black Hawk Down one and any originals if you care to share. My email is vicellious@yahoo.com.au. I've never seen Numb3rs and by extension doubt I'd fully get into these (see comments above about the lack of explanation necessary in fanfics - well, if you're not familiar with the source material, it can be a little alienating). I've watched QAF but can't imagine being too keen on this. Unless maybe Hunter was involved. I like my sexy badboys. ;) So who's the pairing?

PS - I found a link to your fic via theoc_slash livejournal. You should check it out because you have a few more fans there too. :)

That is so cool. I been in a bit of a slump lately. And the fic is Daph/Hunter (it was a odd pairing challange)

Thanks for flicking me your fics. :) I look forward to reading them, however it may take a little while. I'll be sure to let you know how I go and pass on any feedback as they come.

Daph - is that Justin's female friend? If yes, then you're right, they're a little weird, but I still thing it could work.
