clean desk policy
Oddly enough, I had taken a picture of my desk a few days ago that I was meaning to post, so here's a meme that goes along with it. Good times!

Unlike some people, I didn't cheat!
My desk is so awesome.
Annotations
1. A flyer for the stage show of One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, which I saw with tacks some time ago. It was awesome, because Christian Slater is awesome.
2. I think that's my CD player. It doesn't get a lot of use these days.
3. That's because I plug my MP3 player right into these bad boys, and blast sound all over my room. The blu-tack is there because for some reason a red light glows when it's turned off, and it was disturbing my god damn sleep.
4. I GOTTA HAVE MORE COWBELL
5. On this rare occasion, there was a biro to hand in my room. I can never usually find one. And I don't write with anything else! The turmoil, the pain!
6. A stack of fine DVDs. I can see Rent and Anchorman there for a start.
7. chessandgames got me this for my birthday (or possibly Christmas) several years ago. Man, I love that astronaut.
8. That's my Social Security number, for when I was working in America. I don't really know what it entitles me to, but I'm told never to carry it with me, presumably because it makes me a target for illegal immigrants and freemasons.
9. A boxset of Azumanga Daioh, pretty much the only anime I've watched in the last few years. And I used to be so cool.
10. This folder is full of junk from America that I still haven't sorted two years on.
11. My awesome triceratops from Blackgang Chine on the Isle of Wight. He's defending the fortress that is my desk from invaders and the like.
12. My amp. It's pretty loud.
13. All my NIN stuff. CDs, videos, and vinyl boxsets. It brings my untold joy.
14. I think this is actually the desk. There might even be stuff in those drawers.
15. Books that I have read. Once I'm done with them, they usually go on the desk for the rest of time.
16. A Gameboy Color, from years ago. I expect Pokémon is in there.
17. My bass, which is a 2001 Fender Jazz. Boy, it sounds nice.
18. CDs of unknown providence.
19. It's curtains for you, pal.
20. That is a CD clock radio thing that I could never get to work properly. On the desk it goes!
21. Some sexy NIN posters that I bought for a cent each. The shipping was a bitch though.
22. My lamp. For all those times I'm working hard at my desk, which if memory serves, was sometime in 2002.
That was fun. We should do this again sometime.
