(no subject)
DH stayed home today and I drove to Bunny's to help her make jam. Ribkicker was napping when I got there- he woke up a couple of hours later and I went to pick him up, with Bunny a few paces behind me because we both knew if he saw Mama he'd want HER to pick him up. Anyway, he lifted his head, with his tousled platinum curls and flushed cheeks, looked at me, and held out his arms for me. I picked him up and said, "Gammie loves you," and he asked hopefully, "Bappa?" ("Grampa?") Had fun watching him play in wading pool while Bunny made jam with friends. They bought him a slide for $5 at a yard sale, and I asked him if he could show Gammie how he plays on the slide, please? And he went over and walked up the plastic steps, and walked down the plastic slide. :::amused:::
DH grouchy for no known reason when I got home. Grilled shrimp for dinner- I could taste the lime I marinated them in, but DH couldn't. Taco salad tomorrow.
Shampooed Crashie before I left today. He is not enjoying that, but when I got home, his head was fully dry so I sprayed on the steroid and rubbed it in.
True Blood: Okay, that final scene was a leetle too graphic for me.
