Hello all!
Well, now that I have friends, I feel compelled to actually write something here.
First of all, thank you to Hermione and Ginny for friending me back- I'm so thrilled!
Also thanks to none other than Rock Is Crock himself for friending me.
And thank you to Jackie, which really should be a given, lol.
So. I guess I should introduce myself.
My name, the one I was born with at least, is Grace. It is annoying, as it has conjugations like disgrace, graceful, etc and I have gotten my fair share of stupid puns and jokes about the Amazing Grace song. I've learned to live with it; actually it makes me feel proud sometimes.
I call myself Ivy for reasons vaguely related to LOTR.
My name says Jeannine Carr because of a Titanic exhibit I went to with my friend Bianca and the club we belong to, Humanities. I got a "ticket" with a name on it, and the name was Jeannine Carr. She died on the Titanic. Her background said that she was on her way to New York to finish her business, and then she was going back to Ireland to live with some of her family. The saddest part was that she never lived to see her family again, so as a tribute to her and to the rest of the Titanic's poor victims, I call myself Jeannine Carr.
As my icon suggests, I love the Beatles. Well, love isn't a strong enough word, so I'll try some others-
I am enraptured with the idea of "Beatles."
I am enchanted by the Beatles.
I once breathed the same air as Ringo- I went to a Ringo Starr and His All-Starr Band concert in St. Petersburg, Florida. I live in Spring Hill Fl, about an hour away.
I love the Lord of the Rings trilogy- the movies were just as good as the books.
I love the Harry Potter series, too.
I have a deadjournal and have had one for a long, long, long time.
