Updates
Let's talk about new things I like.
1. Everyone's talking about figure skating in the Olympics, but for some reason I've gotten hugely into... you will not believe this, but curling. Yes, the one with the brooms. It reminds me of chess and billiards/pool and even some baseball. I tried to root for the USA women's team, but they suck. Canada's women are AMAZING tho. Cheryl Bernard is who I want to be when I grow up, for real. And I love having a female athlete to look up to for once. She's amazing. Men's isn't as fun to watch... they're more aggressive and they yell louder. But still enjoyable. Our men suck too, so I'm rooting for Canada there as well. I think both American teams have been eliminated anyway. I hope Cheryl gets gold. I've been really enjoying pretty much all the Olympic stuff I've seen, tho. I miss them so much when they're over :(
2. IDOL. OMG IDOL IS BACK. Well, it's been back, of course, but there's nothing to vote for until the live shows so I don't get as excited (I dnw to get attached to people before I have any control over whether or not they get through). Tonight Lilly Scott sang Fixing A Hole- yes, the Beatles song- and it was good. I normally hate Beatles covers, but her version suited her so well I forgave it. And Siobhan is my girl, I adore her. So I voted for both.
3. Cheryl Cole is leaving her husband. GOOD. He's a cheating, lying scumbag. I know I'm Team Minogue (lol obviously) but I love Cheryl too and I want the best for her. <3 (She's in Girls Aloud and is a judge on the UK's X Factor... for those of you who don't know. :D)
4. Sims continues to run my life. Oh dear.
