Sick
So today I went to the Walgreens clinic- in case you didn't know, some Walgreens-es have clinics in them now with people (not doctors, but close) who can write prescriptions and do exams and stuff. Depending on what you need, they charge 65$ and up. The woman who took care of me was the sweetest doctor ("doctor") I have ever had, she was so sweet and professional and funny and not at all quick to cut me off or anticipate my answers or any of the other annoying things doctors do. I HIGHLY recommend it.
So (probably because I waited so freaking long) I have to take amoxicillin and prednisone because I have my very first lung... something. It went to my lung! For the first time ever! Just the left lung, I guess lefty is weak or something. I have bronchitis! I am so not pleased about this. This ruins my track record. Because I am a moron and didn't go sooner, I guess. But antibiotics are FREE (I KNOW!!) at Publix and she wrote the prescription for the prednisone in such a way that made it cheaper, somehow. So it was less than seven dollars. I have to keep taking the ibuprofen (for the fever I still have) and the Mucinex DM I've been taking (which really helps). I have to take loads of pills plus some saline solution in my nose because the drugz are making it painfully dry.
I'm not contagious! Which means I get to go to the supercool family party tomorrow I thought I was going to miss. Michele the not-doctor said the antibiotics will knock out anything that was possibly contagious, and the other stuff will make me feel loads better really quickly. I haven't taken my second dose yet and I still feel like utter crap but I'm taking her word for it. My stomach muscles hurt like hell but I've been coughing so much less since I started taking the Mucinex a few days ago. The skin under my nose is all rough :(
My mother hates staying home on Halloween (the lights on in the house make people come bother us) so we went to Target and Kohls and I got two bangles for two bucks in Target's 1$ spot. That made me feel better. :)
I'm still disappointed I didn't get to do anything tonight, since Boyfriend and I were planning on it for so long. He says we can go next week (probably Chili's 2 for 20- he has a job but he's not rich) and maybe he'll buy me candy. I hope so! :D
