So...what kind of nerds are they? The RenFair type? The DnD/Warhammer type? The Magic cards type? The comic book type? Do they have wet dreams about different kind of dice?

They have large tables set up with little fake rivers and trees and little dudes intricately painted and decorated with fake rocks and moss and stuff, and one of them was wearing a Penny Arcade shirt, and they were rambling loudly about... something do do with dice and there were dice everywhere like on all the shelves and hiding in crevices and they were all (every last one of them that I saw) in possession of the pale flabbiness of people who spend too much time indoors arguing and there was a general air of social awkwardness and they seem like the type of people who don't like adaptations and eeeeeernnnnnnngh nerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrddddd

There was also a girl there and no one paid attention to her, she was someone's girlfriend who was also talking about nerdthings but no one was listening, which was sad.

I'm thinking they're probably into DnD.

My boyfriend is into that kind of stuff. He actually got me to play Dungeons and Dragons. It's...pretty fun.

He says he can't remember which game it is, but he'll ask next time he goes (I'm totally rolling my eyes right now.)

I'd play a game like that if it was just me and my boyfriend (or you and your boyfriend, if you lived here) but I am so not going near the hardcore nerds with a ten foot pole. I tend to be really dumb at games and I'm sure they don't want to play with a moron, they seem really impatient.
