I had Chinese food tonight so I think I'm kind of jacked on msg, maybe. It could also be the large quantities of walking I did today. Despite that, I still haven't seen much of the city. Today was my parents' day to wander around their old neighborhoods and whatever. So they're all like "LOLZ LOOK, THE OLD PARK" (for the record, there were about 38827827 parks labeled as "the old park", because apparently they were nomads or something) while I'm all "...yay?" We DID go see Strawberry Fields in Central park, and I got an awesome shirt there. And the cutest thing happened, while we were walking away from it some little kid goes to his mother "But I didn't see any strawberries!" Bless. There were hippies with guitars there too. Oh, and one of the benches had a little plaque on it (actually, many of them did, for various dedications) from Liverpool, England. It was in memory of 9/11 victims, and I just thought that was so sweet- the town of Liverpool bought a bench in Strawberry Fields for 9/11 people. Naturally, I have a picture of it. I also saw the Dakota building across the street (the building where John lived and was shot.) Obviously I have pictures.
It feels like it's 100 o'clock but it's only 11:25. I'd say it was jetlag (jet lag?) but since Florida and New York are both Eastern Standard Time, I have no excuse. We also drove through Times Square (tomorrow we're going to actually get out and do stuff.) The connection to AIM/the internet here is bitchy, so don't mind if I sign off or something. I apologize in advance. :)
I've rambled enough now, bye bye. <33
