I'm assuming you've washed and rised it out with cold water already? Follow that up with wrapping it in a towl or cloth and holding direct pressure on it...HARD. It will hurt more than that general rthrob you mentioned but the bleeding will stop much sooner; probably less than 5 minutes.
Hey honey if it is still bleeding use cyan pepper. it really works but needs the blood flow. it also helps heal faster and no infection. I swear by it.
