Notes: This is my first time ever writing a Ravy fan fic or any fan fic for that matter, so be gentle. I will apologize in advance for any mistakes made in writing this & I will do my best to update as soon as possible. Also note there are spoilers in this fic it is set after Black Magic Sanction so if you have not read it be warned. I will admit this story is going to start off slow because it will be a few chapters in the making so I hope you bare with me, not to mention my noobness to writing.
*Rachel Pov*
I woke up to a crash & shrilling pixy cries, my first thought was was who was wanting me dead this time. I shot up outta bed fumbling my way down the hallway as i tapped the line out back ready for anything. As i heard another bang I realized it came from the kitchen as I rounded the corner I saw my spelling pots on the floor & Rex on the counter top.
"REX!!! Bad kitty" I grumbled.
I dropped the line & only then did I hear the snickering pixy kids above me.
"Jenks, I cried out get your kids under control."
I heard the thrumming of wings coming in from the garden "tinks titties what happened in here"? he said.
"Your kids happened I snapped & woke me up!"
"Sorry Rache" & he flew off getting his kids outside.
Now I would never get back to sleep. As I sat down at the table while waiting for the coffee to brew. Where was Ivy anyway? Surely she couldn't have slept through all of this comotion. I looked outside & her bike wasn't there. Hmmmm...no coffee was made either. Panic rose in me what if Ivy was hurt!! I checked the answering machine to make sure she didn't leave a message. I felt a huge lump rising in my throat......
"Jenks!!!" I cried.... a second later he was there.
"Whats up Rachel?" he asks.
"Have you seen Ivy? She didn't come home last night! Her bikes not here! OMG Jenks what if shes hurt?!"
I didn't give him a chance to answer I got up outta my chair & rushed into my bedroom to put on some clothes so I could go look for Ivy. God what if something happened to her?
I will find the bastard that did it & kill them you don't....."
Calm down Rachel...Ivys fine," Jenks said startling me outta my thoughts.
"Where is she Jenks?" I said.
"Uh...Rache she is with Glenn."
"Oh" I said & sat down not sure what to think. I had forgotten Ivy was dating Glenn, it just still seems a bit odd since the first time they met she wanted to kill Glenn & now they are dating??. It takes some getting use to, I mean it's not everyday your best friend starts dating a guy she tried to kill. Sure i'm surprised by it but Ivy seems happy & Glenn can give her what she needs with the blood. So I should be happy for her right?? I mean I am happy, but why do I feel so alone?
"Snap out of it Rache what are you doing sniffing fairy farts?" Jenks asked.
"What?" I said no....I dropped my boot I had in my hand.
"Whats wrong with you Rachel? I mean Glenn is her boyfriend what do you expect her to do stay with you all the time when you won't admit you love her?"
"Jenks shut up....I have told Ivy I loved her just not in the way she wants me to." Jenks sighed & was shaking his head at me but before he could say anything else I put my hand up & cut him off. "I'm not wired that way Jenks" I said "i've told Ivy that."
"Then why do you look so heartbroken when I told you she was with Glenn?"
"I thought she was hurt Jenks! I yelled.I was scared I said more softly this time."
"Why cause your so in love with Pierce? Rache that guy is bad news."
Shut UP Jenks!" I got up & went to get the coffee that I could smell now.
As i'm pouring my coffee Jenks gets in front of my nose with his best peter pan pose.
Get outta my face Jenks I yelled. It's none of your buisness who I love or sleep with."
"The hell it isn't Rachel when someone hurts you I don't like it & thats exactly what Pierce is gonna do." he yelled.
"Thats it I said not everyone can have what you & Matalina had."
I knew as soon as I said it I sank to a new low I shouldn't have. Once again I managed to shove both feet in my mouth. "Jenks....i'm....i'm sorry I didn't mean it." His wings slowed down & the hurt on his face plainly showed. "I'm sorry Jenks I was just angry & I shouldn't have said that."
His face was filled with grief he landed on the table & said 'It still hurts Rache."
"I know it does.... Matalina was a great woman Jenks she wanted you to keep on living." I said.
We sat quietly for a few minutes when Jenks says "What if I don't want to do it anymore?"
"Jenks you have to we need you me & Ivy...your family Jenks." I said. He seemed to think about that & then I said "besides your the only one who can keep me & Ivy outta trouble."
He puffed up his chest & flew straight up in the air & said. "Your damn right "No one else could put up with you" & with that he darted out the window to the garden. I was alone in the kitchen.
My thoughts drifted back to the beginning of my & Jenks conversation. How I had felt when he told me Ivy was with Glenn, I felt alone....no alone wasn't the right word a hole in my heart?
No that couldn't be that, thats how you feel when your in love with someone & i'm not in love with Ivy...am I? I don't like women that way, I mean it's not that Ivy isn't beautiful because she is she is supermodel gorgous but.......
"Rachel? Are you ok?" I jumped startled out of my chair, it was Ivy standing in the doorway.
"Crap on toast Ivy make some noise when you come in." Ivy snorted & gave a lopsided smile. As she sat down at her computer to check her e-mail I got up to get some more coffee & got Ivys cup & poured her some.
As I handed her, her coffee she looks at me & asks "Rachel are you ok?" she asks.
"Yea why?"
"Well when I came in you had this weird look on your face & seemed very distracted." Ivy said.
"Oh that was when I was thinking......I'm fine" I snapped.
As I took a drink of coffee I could feel her eyes on me then she went back to checking her email. God I was tired maybe I should go back to bed.
As I tried to figure out what I was wanted to do Jenks pops in & says "Hi Ivy, Rachel missed you I thought she was gonna kill someone when she found out you weren't home this morning." Ivys brow shot up & Jenks cackled laughing.
"Shut up Jenks". I said That just made him laugh all the more." I was worried" I said getting annoyed. "I didn't know you were with Glenn (my face warmed) I added, I thought maybe you had trouble with your run last night."
Jenks was trying to compose himself, he flew up between Ivy & I & said as he was humping & grinding the air "Rache you don't need to worry about Ivy it's Glenn you need to worry about."
By then he was laughing so hard he was about to land on the table when Ivy made a snag for him as we both said in union "SHUT UP JENKS!" I looked at Ivy & she was blushing. "I had had enough i'm taking a shower" I said as I stomped off to my room.

A nice hot shower was what I needed. I got dressed & as soon as I headed out into the hall I heard voices it was Glenn. Maybe he has a run for me. When I walked in everyone turned to stare at me. What did I forget to put pants on? I said. (I had to look down just to make sure, yup got them on).
I got another cup of coffee & said "So whats up Glenn? Got a run for me?" What the hell is going on as I saw the worry in Jenks & Ivys faces,
Glenn was the first to speak. "Rachel where were you last night?"
"I was home doing a little spelling & catching up on some.......wait why? what happened? You sound like your accussing me of something spill it Glenn."
"Jonathon was murdered last night he said & everyone knew you two hated each other. Niether of you failed to hide it."
I couldn't believe it Glenn was actually thinking I killed him! "I didn't kill him I shouted. How could you think I would?"
"I told you Glenn she wouldn't have done it" Ivy said scowling as she said it.
"Green fairy farts no she wouldn't kill Jonathon even though he may have deserved it said Jenks."
"What evidence do you have I said?"
"Miss Morgan do you have a ring you wear?" Glenn said.
I looked down at my pinky finger & said "ofc I.....I stopped when I realized it wasn't there. It must be in my room i'll go get it." I went to my dresser it wasn't , maybe I left it in the shower, no it's not there either what the hell I muttered to myself. After searching my room for what seemed like hours I came back out to the kitchen & all eyes were on me. "I can't find it I said, but that doesn't mean I killed anyone just because I can't find my ring. "
"Miss Morgan Glenn said is this your ring?" As he pulled out a little baggie with a ring in it.....my ring.
"Yes I said where was it?"
"It was in Jonathons hand when we found him Glenn said. My mouth dropped open...H..h..how I stampered?"
"Thats what we want to find out." he said.
"Wait...what? No way your not taking me down to the FIB, I didn't do it!! I shouted."
"No freaking fairy fart way!" Jenks shouted, red dust spilling from him. "You can't do this to her, tell him Ivy."
"Glenn are you going to arrest Rachel if she goes down to the FIB with you?" Ivy asked.
"No atm all we want to do is to question her & the more cooperative she is the better, it will look good for you" he said looking directly at me.
Ivy griminced & then said "Rachel maybe it would be best to just go talk to them they are not going to arrest you & it would look good if you..........."
"Fine I said cutting her off sharply. I'll get my purse." I stomped off to my room. I got my purse & was about to head out when I saw Ivy at my door. "What?" I snapped.
"Rachel your not going to be arrested I made sure they wouldn't or I wouldn't have said for you to go" she said.
"Whatever Ivy". I said as I tried to push past her.
With the reflexes of the vampire she caught my wrists & said "I know you didn't do it. Let them question you & they let you go to find the real killer." I stared into her brown eyes & I knew she ment well but I also saw worry.
"Thats what i'm trying to do, now let me go." I said. She let go of me & I walked out to meet Glenn & go down to the FIB.
