Carnifex-Atrox CHARACTER INFORMATION
Canon Character and Series: Luppi Antenor// Bleach
In-Game Name: Luppi Antenor
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Position & Ship: Silvana // Cabin boy
Appearance: Luppi is just over 5'3" tall, slender and decidedly effeminate; the word 'Trap' can probably be effectively applied here. He has large, pale purple eyes that are framed by dark and naturally long eyelashes and he has thin, neat eyebrows.
His hair is medium-short, black and cut with a slanted fringe that makes the right side longer than the left. The shorter side reveals three deep pink diamonds above his eyebrow, which appear to be tattoos. Given that his hair seems all too neat, with little bits flicking and curling as though meticulously styled, it gives the impression that he spends far too much time fussing over his appearance in the mirror.
Still, despite this, he still dresses in a boyish manner with typically form-fitting clothes, albeit ones with sleeves that extend past his hands.
Luppi also wears the remains of a Hollow mask as a sort of hair-clip like thing that takes the appearance of a row of teeth, or something of that nature. He also wears his Zanpakuto, Trepadora, close to his armpit which is fairly unusual given that they are usually hip-mounted or slung across the backs of their wielders, as with regular swords.
He will also frequently wear slightly heeled shoes, to give him a bit of height.
Personality: Luppi will initially come across as perky, friendly and bright. He will generally approach a situation with a smile to test the water, as it were. He uses those big expressive eyes of his completely to his advantage and won’t hesitate to act cute and coy and then bat his lashes if he thinks that it will get him what he wants. He’s just that kind of guy.
Beneath that though, he starts to get a bit sharp-tongued, a little bitchy and likely to both do and say things to get on peoples nerves. While not deliberately antagonistic for the most part, it seems like he doesn’t think before he says something. Or, at least that’s how he wants it to appear. He’s sneakier than most give him credit for, but tends to hide this behind a veneer of irritating playfulness. He is far cannier than most people would expect of such an innocent looking boy, but he will tend to keep his smarts to himself to avoid being exposed to dangerous or otherwise uncomfortable situations.
He is simply one of those people who looks after number one.
Those aspects of his personality aside, he will become deeply unhappy if he believes he has failed in something and as such, will follow orders very efficiently. He doesn't take criticism very well and can seem sulky or bratty if he's been insulted or slighted by somebody. When this happens, he can easily become vicious and confrontational. He is arrogant enough to try and provoke somebody into a fight if he feels that way inclined, but only if he is pretty sure that he can win either with or without releasing his Zanpakuto.
Abilities/Weapons: Luppi's one and only weapon is a Zanpakuto that he calls 'Trepadora'. The scabbard and hilt binding are both pink in colour and the sword itself is very short, being only about twice as long as a concealable dagger. Given the nature of this weapon, Luppi has the ability to 'release' it like a normal Zanpakuto using the command 'Constrict' with interesting results.
Due to the reasons explained in the History section, Luppi has the ability to manifest tentacles, exoskeleton-like armour and a bone-like helmet which seems to be a more extreme version of the jaw-bone hair decoration he wears.
This is his 'Released Form' and he gains the ability to use each of his eight tentacles individually as extra limbs, but he must have his sword and mask with him to perform it. He refers to this process as 'Resurrección', probably because it resurrects the abilities of the monster he was fused with. He does not gain a speed augmentation when he releases, but can use 'Sonido', a high-speed movement technique when he isn't released.
The tentacles themselves are spike-ended, very dexterous and he has the ability to widen them or make them slimmer to suit the purpose of their use at the time.
How well can your character hack?: He has little to no aptitude for anything of that nature. Medium is the absolute top-tier of his ability, and that's only if he bothers in the first place and even then he really has to work at it.
Weaknesses: Luppi's main weakness is the length of his sword. While he can use it fairly well in one-to-one combat, its length makes it unwise to use against an opponent armed with a proper-sized sword as opposed to the kodachi-length blade he uses. He can and will hold his own against a relatively unskilled opponent but falls well short of the mark when it comes to defending himself against anybody with more skill than him.
Given the above, he tends to prefer fighting with his released form which puts him at an automatic disadvantage: he can only use it at long distance.
He is also hot tempered, impulsive, easily insulted and a mite cowardly if he is unable to go to the next level with Trepadora.
History: Luppi had a pretty normal early life. He was born and raised in a high-class city by his well-off parents and he was, in a word, coddled. His father died when Luppi was still at a young age, but due to the money left to him, his mother and his sister, he still got whatever he wanted.
He was schooled in an expensive private school and is, despite all appearances, a fairly intelligent boy.
Despite this, his lazy attitude, interest in other things and low attention span encouraged him to opt out of higher education and strike out on his own. After a few short-lived and unsuccessful ventures, he found himself in a difficult and dangerous situation which resulted in him being beaten senseless by an opponent.
Shortly after this, he offered himself up for magical experimentation after hearing about an interesting opportunity to make himself stronger. During this period, he went through a procedure similar to 'Hollowfication'; a rumoured process that involves bringing somebody's inner darkness to the surface. The difference between that and what he went through is that he had the spirit of an outside monster put inside him magically and sealed into the shape of a weapon and a permanent bone 'mask', as opposed to having to face and beat down his own. The exact method that this is done with is unknown even to Luppi.
The weapon that the creature became took the appearance of a short, dagger-like sword, his 'mask' took the form of a hair-comb shaped set of upper teeth and he was subsequently informed that his live-in companion is known as 'Trepadora'.
Though Luppi worked for those who spearheaded this experiment, he wasn't quite as strong or as useful as they'd hoped. He was 'let go' to train further and make himself stronger by himself, so that if they seek him out one day, he will be strong enough to be of use to them and their cause, whatever that is.
Following his departure from his previous employment, Luppi made the decision to join a ship, knowing that battles can be frequent in that sort of environment.
Unfortunately for him, he found himself on board The Silvana, a ship that, as far as Luppi could work out, did odd jobs. He suffered a demeaning position on board and put up with the presence of his superiors, which he didn't always appreciate. During his time there, the ship attended the Plane Race competition and he accidentally injured the wrong person on what was, for all intents and purposes, a recon mission. Although this attack was never pinned on him, he left The Silvana shortly before the ship itself was decommissioned and decided to lay low for a while.
Also, if you have anything to say about my playing of Luppi (good or bad), feel free to do so here.
