my life in a japanese hospital

Nov 16, 2008 19:35

So, I spent two of my past few weeks in a Japanese hospital.  My eye problem from the summer flared back up on my culture day at school. I went to the doctor, he looked at my eye and was like, yea....you're going to have to stay in the hospital for up to two weeks. And...you're going to have to have a shot directly to the eye two times a day starting...now. So...I stayed in the hospital for two weeks.  Thankfully, I have a million friends here who visited me every day which helped break up the monotony. Needless to say, it was really boring, and I'm still recovering from it.  I still can't see perfectly well yet but it's getting better.
While in the hospital I learned about this wonderful show called Flight of the Conchords. It's about two New Zealanders living in NYC and they have a band. I've been rocking out to the soundtrack with all of my international friends who knew about this show long before I did. It's really awesome :).  Hmmmm...anything else new....oooooooh! I'm coming home December 22nd! And I'll be in NYC from january 6th to the 10th.

I can't wait to come home!!!!
