I thought that this article from Offbeat Bride was very good: Blind Women Get Married, Too.
It's a look at the ableism inside the wedding industry, from the point of view of a blind woman and her own awesome plans for her wedding ceremony. As an ablebodied person, I can't imagine what she goes through on a daily basis, and her stories about trying to put together a wedding with an uncooperative industry are horrible. I'm glad she's sticking to her guns and not letting anyone dictate to her what is 'bridal' and what is 'not'. My favorite touch is the steampunk cane she's going to be using to walk down the aisle with. Super cool!
