Was giddy with having a good day today and bought cake pops for people at work. Most of them were unfamiliar with the joy that is a cake pop. Which I found strange, because they seem to be a fad right now. For those who are unfamiliar with cake pops, it looks like a lollipop. Only it is cake.
Here is a recipe on how to make them that I totally intend on using for my own nefarious purposes. Meanwhile, my account expired. Hurray. Will try to reboot it when I have the spending cash again. Also, I am running low on gas! But I remain cheerful!
I have been meaning to read the Tiffany Aching series by Terry Pratchett, but I feel like I'm going to be thrown off by the Nac Mac Feegle voices and their thick, thick accents. How bad is it, anyone who has read the series themselves? If I like them, I might read them to the kiddies. They are already enjoying Maurice and his Educated Rodents. That book is freaking DARK. I mean, I knew it was because I read it beforehand a few years ago, but good god that thing is pretty weighty at times. I remember being amused that his 'for kids' book turned out so dark and deep at the time, and reading through it I think I am leaving some of the kids behind.
