Merry Christmas to anyone who celebrates it! And a happy Friday to anyone else, I guess. XD
I've been swinging back and forth online, so I'm sorry that I haven't been commenting as much as I should on everyone's lj posts.
Today was mainly spent with me going shopping while I still can to use up some of the gift cards friends and daycare kids gave me for Christmas. I mainly get book gift cards, which is swell, but this year my friends gave me book gift cards for all different book stores, so I couldn't lump sum the gift as I usually do. XD Oh well. I bought Mistress of Spices because bookelfe gave it a pretty good review and I wanted to check it out, and The Girl Who Fell From The Sky, about the struggles of a biracial girl, which is relevant to my interests. Also got Child of the Northern Spring, because Arthurian legend doesn't interest me, but female perspectives of male-oriented legends/mythology do, so let's see how this turns out. also bought a whole bunch of Bath and Body Works (the aromatherapy collection they have), and a box of See's Scotchmallows.
Anyway, in celebration of the holiday and because I am too broke at the moment to buy actual presents/cards for people, I am going to give you guys ficlets. Anyone on my friendslist (or off, I'm generous), can request a fic from me and I will write it for you. Anything. Um, ALMOST anything.
