I'm seeing butterflies flit past my window through the closed blinds. It's an interesting sight. Meanwhile, this meme has been floating about for a while. Commented on

She gets some petty vengeance in burning Sasuke's bridges for him, telling the people of his village false atrocities he committed, but won't speak of his real crimes. Won't mention his blade piercing her heart. Karin says not a word about Suigetsu and his obnoxious posturings, or silent Juugo, calm and steady when the curse mark wasn't devouring him.
She doesn't think of whether or not they think of her, or what Sasuke's told the team now that she's absent. Karin pushes the thoughts away, neatly placing them in the same memory box that holds her time spent with Lord Orochimaru. It has no bearing on her life now.
Sakura comes by time to time. She asks the expected questions about her old teammate, and Karin offers them up, knowing they are being seen as a lifeline. A touchstone. It's something she can't personally fathom. She tries to have no personal attachments.
"It's a Konoha thing," Sakura shrugs at her questions about teamwork. Maybe it is. Still, she watches Sakura and her blonde-haired boyfriend and the silent wraithlike boy that stands firmly by them and thinks it's not necessarily a bad thing.

I really like some of the characterzations you've given Karin, from telling lies just to amuse herself, to her not saying anything about other Team taka members to compartmentalizing her life and her lack of understanding personal connections. Lovely.
