Um, the character or the series.

A) My OTP: Harry/Hermione. Yes, I am the evil Harmonian. (I, for some reason, keep on getting attracted to all these doomed ships. It's a constant with me.) I shipped it really hard in the movies, especially the tent scene in Goblet of Fire.
B) The runner up Harry/Luna. I have a tender spot for this pairing. I think their dynamics are really interesting, especially in the scene where she feeds the thestrals.
C) The anti-ship I do not like Harry/Ginny because it's repellent to me on a meta level. Ginny's character wasn't handled well at all, and there's all sorts of squicky 'marrying your mom, girl as an extension of her family' vibes all over the pairing.
D) My unpopular fannish opinion on said character He's kind of an arrogant dickhead and becomes worse as the books go on.
E) One person he/she never fell in love with, and why Cho. Because he never could understand where she was coming from, and never seemed to care about the person she was so much as he wanted the person he'd decided she was.

Watched the 6th movie last night and, in regards to Ginny's character, I decided I did like the kiss-in-the-room-of-requirement better because it seemed more in character. I can buy that she grows and is a much different person at 16 than 11, because heaven help us if we all aren't different between those two ages! But the movie writers seemed to realize that what is shown is more bleeivable than what is told to an audience.

Tyzula! I love this pairing. I got introduced to it by a friend, and after reading the ship manifesto, I started thinking about it/writing drabbles for her, and now I think it's adorable.
B) The runner up
Zucest. Yes, I know. But I got hooked on this really amazing writer who wrote them so well and so sensitively, and I can truly buy the incest angle in a relationship and family as fucked up as theirs.
C) The anti-ship
Azula/Aang. I just...what. What the hell.
D) My unpopular fannish opinion on said character:
She's not a sociopath. She feels too much: when we see her vulnerability later in the series, it's clear she feels betrayed and abandoned by her father, friends, and mother, and she feels regret when she upset Ty Lee. I think she molded her personality to be the good child to please her father (who's been sculpting his prodigy since childhood) and make sure that he didn't treat her like he treated Zuko.
E) One person he/she never fell in love with, and why.I don't think she actually fell in love with ( ... )

Gibby.

A) My OTP
Gibby/Tasha. Because it seems to be working out for them, so why not.
B) The runner up
Gibby/Mandy. Because it would be EPIC CRACK.
C) The anti-ship
I don't really have an anti-ship for Gibby. I wouldn't ship him with either Sam or Carly, though.
D) My unpopular fannish opinion on said character
I...think he's kind of annoying in large doses.
E) One person he/she never fell in love with, and why
Spencer! Because...I don't know. He doesn't go for the artist types.

I have this theory that Gibby and Tasha met in group therapy. Sure, there's nothing "wrong" with her, but that doesn't mean she can't benefit from therapy. (In my head, she was there for night terrors or nightmares.)
Can I ask you another?

And sure, give me another if you like!

You know--THE Susan.
THERE IS ONLY ONE SUSAN.

I want to say Susan/Lobsang here, but truth be told, I never really shipped it. It lacked chemistry, mainly because the story focused on Lobsang's journey without really including the romance between Lobsang and Susan. They just somehow hooked up. It didn't really strike me as compelling. That said, I don't really see her with anyone else.
B) The runner up
Susan/Bud E Celyn. You know, the rock star dude she had a crush on that I suppose went nowhere. Oh, Susan. You have poor luck in love.
C) The anti-ship
...You know, I don't think Discworld and shipping have met in my head. I keep coming up with uncomfortable silences. Susan/Vimes. Because Vimes is taken. So there.
D) My unpopular fannish opinion on said character
I don't think I have one. Sorry. >_<
E) One person he/she never fell in love with, and why
She never fell in love with Moist Von Lipwig. Which is a shame, because he is very loveable.

Anthy/Akio. It hits all my darked, fucked-up relationship kinks and it's really complicated and intriguing. They're so tightly wound up in each other and so crucial to each other's destruction.
B) The runner up
Anthy/Juri, because it's really interesting to think about how that would have panned out.
C) The anti-ship
Anthy/Utena. I like the relationship better if it's nonsexual. I feel like after having her sexuality been savaged like it was, she shouldn't be given a romance interest right off the bat- also, I like Utena really saving Anthy for friendship/agape.
D) My unpopular fannish opinion on said character
Anthy is the most noble person in the series.
E) One person he/she never fell in love with, and why
*lol* For Anthy, this question is very open. None of the duelists, certainly. Her ability to love has been fairly twisted by this point.
