I must be the only person who doesn't like Sound of Music. I like some of the songs in it, but the musical itself just leaves me cold. I know, it's a classic, but I just can't get into it. It doesn't even have to do with gender or race- I just can't get into it. There are a few so-called 'classics' in either film or literature that I feel similarly about, and it's always fun to get into a conversation with someone and just spill it: "I don't like Sound of Music/Gone With the Wind/Breakfast at Tiffany's." Bah.

Of course, I say this while having 'Climb Every Mountain' stuck firmly in my head.
