First of all, to those of you celebrating Rosh Hashanah, I wish you a belated happy new year. I hope you enjoy yourselves!

My computer and internet currently seem to be doing fine, fortunately for me. I'm hoping, knock on wood, that it maintains this stability long enough for me to get an external hard drive. Or even a netbook. I really have been wanting a netbook. (I know, external hard drive is more practical, but come on. A netbook!)

This is in response to the so-called 'outreach center' who have proposed to burn the Quran. 'Read a Book Day' taking place on September 11th. I intend to read Persepolis and 'Reading Lolita in Tehran,' both of which I believe are in line with what the outreach center wishes to ban and silence. Since most of you on my friends list are readers also, I ask you all to please join in.
