never forget the dragons

So, it's been a fairly good week for issues, but instead of posting and raging over them, I've just done my raging privately and focused on my latest writing project. I'm very glad that I'm an artistic/creative person, because I have no idea what I would do with myself if I had no outlet for all of this. Although I wonder if high emotions and the ( Read more... )

I know it's not your intention, but now I feel slightly bad for posting about my own issues instead of dealing in private with them...

I like the saying though, 'never forget the dragons.'

Noooo! *hugs* Honestly, the main reason I haven't posted anything about issues is because it would take way too much effort.

Yeah *hugs* I didn't think that you meant to do that, I just get feelings of guilt easily. :P

Oh..on that note, did you ever read the books Animorphs as a kid? I did and it's so awesome, even eleven years later and thought you might want the ebook series?

Guh, that series. My super-favorite was Rachel, with Ax coming up as a close second because of his ridiculousness. I loved his food freak outs. And I loved Cassie. And I always felt so bad for her when the others would mock her for being an animal-lover and environmentalist and seriously guys, don't be douches.

I was always a fan of Ax just because I loved reading things from his perspective. Yeah, his food freak outs were awesome. I didn't mind Marco's humor, though yes some days they could both be asses.

Cassie and Rachel were amazing. Though I think my favorite was Tobias (for humans)

Tobias was a sweetie. I liked his deal with the Ellimist and the 'look, I kinda screwed you over...OR DID I?' ending to that. I also liked any time they interacted with aliens, especially Andalite ones. I really liked the book that had a disabled Andalite, and it dealt with ableism in their culture.

I don't think I read that one! I missed a lot of the thirties and some of the twenties because the books were becoming hard to come by.

That's interesting that they did deal with that, I look forward to reading about it.

They actually dealt with a surprising amount of Issues, and usually did so quite well- or at least, from what I remember, they did.
