The cynic in me is worried about the tenuous balance the law stands on, with so many against gay marriage, but with the law only able to be overturned by a change to the state constitution (which can take years), I feel a little better about its stability. I hope other states will start to follow its lead and make gay marriage, if not universally legal in America, at least an option in many other states.
