maybe i'm a socialite who wants to be alone

So, today I had no work because of the lack of kiddos at my school. Spent the first few hours of my day off tending to the needs of my sick sister, who had food poisoning, and my sick baby nephew, who had a cold. I awoke to my mother calling and saying: "Wake up, your sister's calling for someone to give her medicine." Which led me to reply with a sleep-bleary: "Huh?"

"Get your sister some medicine," my mother explained, and I went to it. Nicole actually was so out of it she requested Mylanta, and since I had no clue what it was she had, I went out and bought that as well as the Pepto Bismol we were lacking. Nicole went: "Oh, shit, I meant Maalox," drank the Bismol, and conked out again. Since I can't go back to sleep once I've been woken up, I trudged around for some time, settled down on the internets, and zoned.

Macy's and Nordstroms were giving out free body products today, so while we were in the mall, Color and I got to stand through the lines for products. I got some Coco Chanel body lotion and Calvin Klein Euphoria body creme. Also went to the sale at Bath and Body Works and bought Rain Kissed Leaves body gel and Cotton Blossom bubble bath. It was a very very bath product day, apparently.

And now, we have a new president. Congratulations, president Obama! I won't be going INSANE over it until he's had time to make some actual changes, but I do feel good about the way the election went. (Not going to shout YES WE CAN, still. You know why? It reminds me of Bob The Builder. Can he fix it? YES HE CAN.)
