Haha. Well those all seem like typical fic research questions to me. I seem to remember this conversation I had with Cory once, where she was talking about being on the phone with tattoo artists...to ask how they tattoo penises.

Haha, yeah, it is typical research stuff, which for me means Google and Wiki. LOL at Cory! I wonder what the guy's reaction was.

Oh Ivy, separation of church and state in this country...don't get me started. *gags a little in my mouth* ;)

I don't think you get to complain, we're a Jewish State and most of the times the religious people take over everything and force us secular people to conform. So we have to fight for every establishment that we want open on Saturday, among other things.

OMG, I feel you on Angela and Cynthia. When "Home" first came out, I had to pause and rewind on the girls' graves for like 10 minutes, and I wrote them down on this scrap of paper that I subsequently lost. When I was writing my story Dark is Right, in which they feature heavily, I had to keep stopping to calculate their ages, and it was exhausting. But it was also worth it since I loved the trope: Cynthia has an epic crush on Miles that renders her speechless around him! And Angela is hyper and makes Miles carrying her around on his shoulders so her head nearly clips the ceiling all the time. LOL.

Thanks for that lovely new headcanon! Cynthia having a crush on Miles and Angela being hyper is just so adorable. I want all the Monroe family fics! And Matheson family fics!

Oh come on - complaining is all I have! But yes, as I was typing that, I was like: living in Israel could be very intense in this regard! :)

You're welcome! ;) Sometimes I think about pulling out bits of that story and posting them on AO3 (it was my FF swan song in a very weird transitional phase). It's a very uneven story, but it has its magical Miloe bromance moments. Maybe I'll refurbish it as a Christmas miracle (you see Christmas miracles are actually very common in my neck of the woods).

You can complain, just remember it could always be worse. Your country could be held hostage by fanatics that refuse to be a part of it (going to the Army, getting a freaking job and not living off of the tax payer's money) but will still dictate how we should all live our lives. I wish we could have a Vatican state and just ship them all off to there and have them fend for themselves. Sorry for the rant.

DO IT!!! You had me at "magical Miloe bromance" moments. So you're saying Christmas miracles are real and aren't just in movies? The more you know!

Christmas miracles ARE real, because I make them happen. ;) And I am in the process of re-posting just the Marine!Miloe half of "Dark is Right" on AO3 if you're interested, but no pressure. Because of it occurring during the boys' first tour, they both occasionally ponder Password. Dun-dun-dun. She does not appear in the story, but I felt like I'd better warn that she's mentioned a few times, as your love of bromance!Miloe may not be able to overcome your epic loathing of Password.

Also the chapters are kind of long (which I know sometimes dissuades you), and in the first chapter there's an oblique reference to Miles with his hand down his pants. There - you've been properly warned! (I do NOT feel comfortable reccing my own fics, clearly. Not at all!)

Haha, duly noted. Don't worry, Butters, I'm a big girl- if I don't like something, I can skip sections or stop reading. I don't mind mentions of Password, especially if they help make sense of her character the timeline and doesn't just treat her like a convenient womb (thanks show).

My ADD can sometimes deal with long chapters/stories and sometimes not, I can't really tell if I'll lose steam reading or not. But I read the first chapter and I love all the details you've put in their (early) Marine life, that just makes it so real.

And the best miracles are the ones we make happen, that way we also feel accomplished. ;)
