4400: The Ballad of Kevin and Tess

Thoughts below!

So here's the highlights:)

Marco/Diana: Well they did have to see each other at work. A little awkward but they worked fine briefly. Marco is way too sweet:) He inquired after her health. She had not been feeling well. Whether or not he sought the info he is in the know about her and is still concerned about her. In the end when Diana is in the hospital, Marco sort of goes up to Tom and asks him about how Diana's doing although he never presumes to go to her himself and see how she is in the hospital. Defintely still cares but is giving her space since she broke up with him. Sigh lol! I am afeared they might never get the two back together!

Tom and Diana: Some nice partner/friendship scenes. He's concerned about her. He pulls her up and gives her a comforting hug when she faints.

Shawn: After healing a rock star who only brings his troubles upon himself (drugs and alcohol), Shawn states plainly that he was sent back to help people who truly need it. He can't be this rock star's personal healer.

Isabelle: Becoming bridezilla. She tells her father to read an article that night on the do's and don'ts of speeches/toasts given by fathers. Also we find out what she is doing with Dennis Ryland (Tom and Diana's former boss and the guy who authorized the promicin inhibitor). They are drawing (like blood) Isabelle's promicin out of her system and stockpiling it! They now have a two year supply! For what purpose??????

Richard: Can I say this guy is so great! I've always enjoyed his character! So he's mad about the magazine article he has to read and about being told what to do by his daughter who might destroy the world. He is frustrated at his telekinetic powers (that only surfaced after he was taken of promicin). He has no true control over his powers. He goes to see a teacher at the 4400 Center (Heather Tobey) for help. We finally learn what her gift is-to help others focus, use, and control their powers. After a failed attempt, she finally helps Richard. In the end, with the back drop of pictures of his daughter as a baby and now, Richard practices throwing butcher knives (with his power) into a target like archery! Will he wind up trying to kill her in the end!!!!????? Made me miss Richard/Lily! Heather/Richard???? Hmmm...lol.... But I think I'd enjoy just even seeing them as friends:) It'd be nice for Richard to have someone he could confide in now that he's lost Lily.

As for Kevin and Tess... I think I filled you in on the backstory. Both of these two met at the pscyh ward. Tess is a 4400 who helped created a machine which, when all was said and done, didn't take Tess away in a space ship as she had predicted. Instead it healed Kevin who we have come to believe is the father of the future 4400 technology that made them all possible. Well he had been grotestly trying to turn himself into a 4400. He was afraid he would die before the experiment was complete and had with Tess (who's skitophrenia (sp?)) was under control were, sadly, doing experiements on Diana without her knowledge or consent, to turn her into a 4400 in case he died. Well Tom and NTAC were able to save Diana in time but Kevin and Tess got away. (Tess has the ability to make people do things without their consent or remembering what they did). In the end it appears that Kevin shed his skin, literally, into his old self but we are assuming now has a 4400 ability. He and Tess are a couple (and cute in a Bonnie and Clyde sort of way!). It was a nice kiss and hug in the car at the end. Although I don't think they were justified in what they did to Diana, at least they were sorry for it-mostly Tess though.

Diana and Maia-Cute as ever! I like how they comforted each other when Maia had the dream/vision about Mommy becoming a monster. But Diana didn't actually become one... Did she??? Maybe there are lingering effects!

Hmmmm...am slightly concerned that the writers aren't that into the ships I am:( Well I'm going to keep my fingers crossed!

Love my new X-Files show!
