What and where is your favorite Indian Resturant in Metro Detroit?

Ashoka, at 16 1/2 Mile and Rochester. In the same plaza as Zoup.

steve, if you like ashoka, try rangoli. it's better, IMO...

I really like Star of India, on 9 Mile in Ferndale. They have a lunch buffet that's really good and very cheap. I haven't been there for a sit down dinner in a long time. I've had great meals at Priya on 15 Mile near Livernois, as well as Ashoka on Rochester (the one that Steve recommended). There's a place out in Farmington, on Grand River, called Sitar, that is pretty decent, too.
