An Open Mind, Too Open, Leads to Brains Falling Out...

If you ever have nothing better to do than cruise the state listings on Witchvox.com, be prepared to gag. I fully understand Wren and Fritz's hands off approach, I mean, seriously, people need to keep their sanity. But sometimes, I wish they were just a little more selective about the way some people post their ads.

After all, what does being a vampire, a werewolf, or being the Master (or slave) in a B/D relationship, or being addicted to the habitual use/abuse of any substance have to do with one's spiritual path? Can anyone enlighten me on this? I'm beyond disgusted at what passes for 'normal' in the pagan community these days. I've always thought of myself as liberal...but I can see where being a conservative might have its merits when looking at some of the listings.

Truthfully, I was just inside cooling off, and of course, slid up to the computer for a bit. Big mistake, as now I am all ranty and stuph. I just don't get it. I have nothing whatsoever against people in alternative lifestyles, except when they think it qualifies them as a pagan spokesperson. And when you start talking about growing teeth and turning into a vampire or werewolf....well sayonara sweetheart, you're a FUCKING LOOOOON!! People who are capable of actually shapeshifting and using this ability in a spiritual path, don't talk about it, it's SACRED. Get a freaking clue people! Have some respect for yourselves and your significant others before you go plastering about how you are a Wiccan BD/SM anything. PULEASE!!!!

Yes, I know I am judgemental and take everything too seriously, but isn't your spiritual path something you SHOULD take seriously, if nothing else?

This dose of judgementalism has been brought to you by the letter F and sponsored by Organic Lemons.

rants, stupid people, ohmyfuckinggods, ridiculous shit
