Concrete is HARD work!
We poured the back stoop last night. Then I finished circling the iris bed with liriope....well, 8/10ths of the way. I'll finish up tonight. Gods I LOVE this time of year. Of course when it's dark, it's time to go to bed. I have to remember to stop before it goes dark if I have anything to do inside!
Various of my plant starts found new homes at the herbal meetup on Tuesday. Let HERBS take over the world! My Evil Plan is working...haha
I wish the mornings weren't so friggin cold right now, that's daylight I could be taking advantage of before work. I will be putting in another sowing of lettuces and basil this weekend. The lettuce will be ready by the weekend...I don't have to buy any more - maybe EVER!
We've reduced the need for trash pickup to twice a month since we are recycling. Of course this means we have to take it to the Recy ctr, but it's on the way to the grocery store luckily.
Compost is cooking right along. I need to turn that stuff tonight.
Now off to work at the job what I love.
