Well, you have to do some miracles here because I can imagine all kinds of interesting things happening next ! Can't wait to see what you do and how you tie it all together. Thanks for sticking to it!

I feel like rather than writing myself into a corner, I've written myself into an open space when I was trying to write myself into a corner! Thanks for reading it so far :-) I'm gonna go look for that corner now ...

Firstly--thank you!!! I always, always worry that no one cares or worse--my fic truly sucks, so you made my day when I saw your comment this morning.

Then, I had a truly awful afternoon/evening, to the point that I had to re-read your comment, just to make myself feel worthwhile. It beat sobbing at my desk, for sure. Rubynye posted something today that sort of sums up that whole experience of having a crap day and how positive comments on fic can make it all better (or at least, make me feel better), better than I can say for it is late and I am tired and incoherent, but yes. So also secondly: Thank you!

(If I was less inept, I'd make cute little icony things or emoticons or something, but. Well. It is me.)

Anyway, to explain--no, there is too much. Let me sum up: Thank you! It means a lot that you like my fic, cuz I adore yours beyond all words to express it. :-)

*pets your head and back and shoulders* Oh sweets. I'm sorry you had such a bad day. It does make me very happy in my soul that I could help.

I just discovered this story and read it in one session - love it so far. You depict Neal's emotions in a realistic "all over the place" manner. He, for sure, suffers from some kind of Stockholm syndrome. My heart definitely aches for him - and also for Peter because he can't help who *he* is as little Neal can.

I hope you'll update this story soon!

Thank you so much--I'm really glad you like it--and I'm working on it! Work has exploded this month, so I'm not sure how much I'll be able to do--but I am certainly still working on it, and am hoping to resolve and end this one soon!

No respect for your readers! We commit the time reading your fic but you don't complete and instead write another that'll probably not be completed.

Thank you for taking the time to comment--I'm really sorry you feel that way. I do respect my readers, and I try to mark all my unfinished works--and I have several that aren't finished--so that no one is confused or disappointed. Having said that, I understand that you're upset--but I do write fanfic as a hobby, between a number of other obligations, and I simply don't have the time or energy, always to work on my stories as much as I like--and because I do it for fun, unfortunately, RL priorities always take precedence for me. And while I know you take the time to read and I appreciate it, I assure you it takes me even longer to write! I'm a very slow writer. Having said that, there are lots and lots of *finished* works out there, by writers far more talented (and possibly faster at writing!) than I. I have a list of stories I like under "WC stories I like" in my memories, if you are looking for other things to read ( ... )

For some reason, I can't access part 9. I just get a "page was not found!" message... :( (And can I say, even if I haven't read it yet, how seriously happy I am that there is a new chapter?!?)

Fixed the link. Sorry about that! And I'm glad you're still reading and interested--thank you! :-) Hope you like the ending--there may be an epilogue someday, but for now, it's done!
