Whee,
Haven't updated in a while.
I've been very busy, with uni, work and reorganising my flat.
Uni is ok, hard work, but coming up to the mid semester break which is joy beyond belief. The twins i work with are still at school so I'm actually getting somewhat of a break which i haven't had since christmas week. Only problem is, I've got 2 more days of uni till the break and 2 tests in that time, one is in half an hour in statistics which i think i'm relatively well prepared for but is boring beyond belief (I know I've used the phrase beyone belief twice in this sentance but its justified trust me).
My English course, Shapeshifter: an introduction to litereary form is really fun and enjoyable. We study romance poetry, gothic novels and detective fiction. We are now just finishing gothic novels, we read Austen's Northanger Abbey and Henry James' turn of the screw. loved the former not so much the latter.
Psych, is interesting but possibly not as interesting as i hoped. I'm loving it still but it could be better, I'll put it like that.
Work is hard atm, my boy is getting his adult teeth through and not coping well, with the result that a lot of my hair is being pulled out and he spends most of his time crying :'(
And the flat. Well our flat mate moved out so me and Kip re organised it and now it is cosy and lovely.
Hmm I seem to have run out of steam, and i'm really only posting on here because i don't want to study anymore.
Went to a concert last week, Hobnail Boots and Shot Band! was very cool. me jake and kip sat in the front row and the bands laughed at us because they know us and we were being stupid. It was filmed. hope it comes out on DVD I will buy it!
