happy days are here again.
i was supposed to start work again at steak 'n shake this friday night. this evening i got a call from one of the managers. looks like i'll be starting tomorrow on the lunch shift (which i fucking hate).
i hate being home. at least i finally have internet access from my humble abode. most of the people from carmel who i'd actually like to see during the summer have moved away or just moved on, and for good reasons.
this past weekend was fun, though. stephen, alex, jordan, and i all headed up to chicago to see lcd MOTHERFUCKING soundsystem. talk about a fucking amazing live band. i wouldn't mind seeing them again at lollapalooza, if i can find the money. stephen and i will probably be charged with accompanying his sister again. besides, daft punk is playing, which pretty much makes my attendance mandatory. [sorry, dad.]
i guess it's time to dust off my apron and bone up on my menu. jesus christ, working as a server blows.
