Academic Testing, New Friends, ...ewww work and lecturing...

First of all, Heather e-mail me your work schedule!!! *L* I never know when you're working, hun, and I always seem to call when you're at work and leaving tons of messages with your mom. *L* I want to talk to ya! :)

Well, I didn't do as well on my test today as I would have liked. You may be wondering why distressed is my emote thingy, it's because they don't have flustered (which I think they should for me!). I have to study more next time, considering stupid me studied in the last few minutes before the test this morning. Still, the mark was stellar for how much studying I actually did. But I don't think I'll mention my B average to my mother right now. I think she wouldn't be too happy about that. I'll get those A's eventually. Besides, I may actually have an A- right now in this class...

Well, work is good for money, but man I don't want to go tonight. It sucks because I get out of school roughly at 5pm and I have to get my bum to work and start work for 6pm - and find something to eat inbetween. And it also confuses me as to why I have no work next week at all. Oh well, as long as it doesn't mean anything bad I'll just study and do some homework ahead of time to get caught up. Also some readings of the massive textbooks I have.

I like my classes right now, but my Networking Theory class with James can get boring. He tends to lecture a lot, and I tend to space out when he does...blarg. But my A+ class with Katrina is good, because she writes a lot of notes and she lectures less. James tends to go off on tangents. Though he is a nice guy.

I met a few new friends in Winnipeg, which is cool. Shae (who is in my class) has become a good friend, and becoming an even better friend as the days in these classes pass. I met his wife the other day, Joanne, and she's really nice too. Ian and I are probably having Easter dinner with them on sunday, providing Joanne feels better (she's been sick - hope she feels better soon).

I also met Jeahsun and Jolie. And Jolie called me the other day asking me if I wanted to go into her dance class. I think I will next time she has classes. She's really nice, and is Wiccan, and I'd like to get to know her better. When I met her, her and I just clicked instantly, and I think we could become real good friends.

Then there's Sandy and Derek from work as well as Hassani and Gina. They all started around when I did, and it makes work somewhat more bearable when we can talk a little inbetween work phone calls.

As I said before, I'm dreading work today. I just kind of want to get home and stuff.

My mother called me at like 6:30am this morning and sounded really pathetically sad or something on my voicemail wanting me to pick up the phone. So here's me at 9 this morning, thinking someone in my family died and stressing about the test. So I call around, and get ahold of my nonno (grandfather) who tells me everything is fine, and the call was probably about my schooling. I guess my mom got something from school or something about my schooling and was really proud. It was weird...

Anyways, gotta jet - work and all next. Fun...
