Good times
Met with a group I'll be roleplaying with at Ravenloft tabletop on Tuesdays. Great group. I'm the only female, but that never bothered me before. The DM sounds nice, and his close friend Jeff is bloody hilarious. When they tell a joke, it's too funny. There's bound to be much snarfing. Infact, if you happen to make someone shoot liquids from their nose, you may get XP. I just find it funny. Yesterday was a meet and greet, and more about the characters. Looks like we have a cleric, wizard, rogue, bard and maybe a fighter? I wasn't clear on what Craig ended up picking. Anyhow, they're all in their 30's. So I'm also the youngest! Hah. But it's working out fine, and we all had a good time, I think. Dave came up and met them before he went to his parents' house for dinner.
I have to finish up my character for today and send it in to Scott (DM). Her name is Zathara Galayna, a Half-Vistani bard. Vistani are gypsies in Ravenloft. Anywho, I think I have her background worked out and all that. Have to finish her up fully and I'm hoping to today so I can send it in. I wish we had a printer though, so I could also print out some character sheets. I know Dave's parents have a printer, so maybe we'll print out some there.
There was also talk about going to Gen-Con in the future even. The game seems like it will be a bunch of fun. I also have been talking to another group that plays on Fridays. I think I'll be gaming in that, and they use the Rolemaster system. Again, I'm likely to be the youngest. That never bothered me. Infact, I like having older friends. But I've been talking to the GM a lot for it, and I'll probably be doing that in the future. Sounds like a great group as well, and the world he made is amazing. NPCs played as PCs, that sort of thing. Love it!
Also, also..gaming on Saturdays with Curtis' group most likely, and Dave will be there too. I'm making up a druid for that group. And, been playing HeroClixs too with Derrick and Curtis and a lot of them. Having a great time with that. Maybe I can poke Derrick into GMing the Heroes Unlimited game again in the future sometime. I miss playing superheroes! That was fun. He was the best GM for it. So I also am playing HeroClix on Thursdays.
Yep, I'm a gamer. I like tabletop and on-line usually more than consoles. But, I'm getting back into what I love. And having a blast! Missed tabletop roleplaying. Now I might have three different groups to do so with. I'm happy about it.
