Ringer Premiere Reaction Post!!
Hi guys! Here begins my weekly reaction posts to all my favorite shows I'll be watching this season! Starting it off is the series premiere of Ringer, starring the forever flawless Sarah Michelle Gellar. Below are my reactions that I quickly typed up as the show went along, and then a brief overall review of how I felt. This is what I'll do every week after each episode. Hope some of you watched tonight and enjoyed it!
- SMG SUP GIRL YOU'RE GORGEOUS!! Aww, she looks so afraid. :(
- I Fall To Pieces!! Immediately thought of Prophecy Girl.
- "YOU HAVE THE WRONG GIRL!"
- Oh Bridget, no one loves a pessimist.
- Those are big-ass sunglasses, Siobhan.
- Double the SMG, I'm gonna love this show.
- Siobhan's husband doesn't know about Bridget. Well that's a future advantage for Bridget, I suppose.
- I think in these circumstances - Bridget being asleep while Siobhan supposedly "disappeared" - makes it easy to guess that Siobhan faked her own death. What'll be interesting to find out is how everything unravels after that.
- I feel like I missed something. Bridget just decided to impersonate her twin. lol Ok. I could've done with a little scene of Bridget being looking at Siobhan's stuff and silently realizing what she could do, while putting her hair up and stuff. I don't know. lmao.
- Oh, here's a little flashback scene. Nevermind the last comment.
- This scene with Bridget on the phone on the roof is done very well.
- Siobhan's husband is kind of a dick. Now I kknow why she faked her death.
- I'm getting Buffy flashbacks seeing some of SMG's mannerisms here (not in a bad way! She's playing these different roles very well). I feel so nostalgic about this. <3
- "TV to bing about"? Seriously, CW? Nobody bings! We google.
- Here's another dick in Siobhan's life. Siobhan, you're mess of a life.
- Ooh, Siobhan and games, eh? ... lol Yeah, I'm gearing up for the mystery and drama of this show, ok, I'm having fun.
- SMG still looks too young to be the mother of a teenager. lol Guess it's a good thing that she's the STEP-mother, more believable.
- It would suck to deal with my twin's personal/sexual life if I was impersonating her.
- Siobhan is fucking pregnant?? Oh, let's see you pull that off, Bridget. Aw shit.
- lol She barely had to think about it. Not choosing the wanker cheating on his wife & pressuring somebody else's wife to leave her husband.
- So that guy was going after Siobhan, not Bridget. This gon get goooood.
I thought it was a great start. They obviously know where they're going with the show, and there were already a couple surprises throughout this first episode. I love shockers. SMG was really great at distinguishing her two characters (course, we already know she's talented at that - Buffybot, anyone?). I'm excited to see more and watch this show grow & evolve throughout the first season. Hopefully it'll do well!
Next up is the Vampire Diaries S3 premiere this Thursday! I'M BEYOND EXCITE!!!!
