(no subject)
Well, not much new in la-la land. Subway job is going alright. I still feel like such a noob sometimes, especially today, when I tried learning to make certain sandwiches, and I accidentally forgot to make one for this lady who ordered 3 or 4 sandwiches. Thing is, she came back like an hour later and complained. bah. The subway diaries are going to be interesting tonight, and I'll think about sharing them with y'all.
There is one guy I have got to mention. He came in tonight and was all like "aloha! Either of you ladies been to Hawaii? Good, cuz you're not missing much. Let me tell you, the dark people down there will treat you like crap, so just act cool." After he left, Ursula told me that he was some crazy guy that comes in every now and then. She said last time he came in he said in the normalist tone "Yea, I was out watering/mowing my yard and was going to ask my neighbor if he wanted to go grab something to eat, but when I looked over, he was dead." Just like it was an everyday thing, he said that. I told mom that and I haven't seen her laugh harder...
So...I figure I'd better stop making so many Helen Keller jokes. She's starting to get through my dreams now. Only it was a boy. A very good-looking boy and he was just a mute, but he communicated with his hands and even those who didn't know sign language still understood him. Anyway...
I want to go to silverwood.
