If it's one thing studying Shakespeare has instilled in me, it's a great desire to see his plays actually performed -- whether on the silver screen or the stage. This adaptation looks kind of heavy on the special effects, but on the other hand I'm intrigued to see how Julie Taymor, the director, intends to handle her female Prospero (Prospera, according to Wikipedia).
