Salzburg (Oh wow! Check out the fortress!)b
A quick morning visit to the fortress, followed by train journey from Salzburg to Munich to Stuttgart to Paris. Apparently I had a reservation from Stuttgart to Paris, but not for Salzburg to Stuttgart. That was a very nervous moment at the ticket office, but fortunately it worked out ok, with catching a different train and adding in the change at Munich.
Arrived in Paris at midnight, but the hotel is the best so far, although the the lift is tiny!
